Maltese Tile - Souvenir painting workshop with local

- Kindly contact me in case the date you have in mind is not available- - The Maltese Tile, an extraordinary heritage from Maltese art and culture. - The relaxing activity is based in my studio, which is situated in an Urban Conservation area, and within a traditional Maltese Townhouse which I am turning into a living arts space. You will be given brief historical information about the Maltese Tiles, then you will create a base for a coaster sized tile using white cement (size 10 x 10cm) which can be used as a souvenir. Your tiles do not need to be baked, therefore you can paint them and take them with you home straightaway in one of my handmade boxes :) I will show you how the tile is done from concept to realization, you will be designing your own pattern (or use the ones we have available), transfer the design to the mold, and finally painting it! At the end you will be keeping the tile for yourself, and have something handmade (and Maltese) which you can take back home! Other things to note 1. To make one tile usually takes about 2 hours, but you are more than welcome to make more tiles at an extra expense of 5 euro each tile, or else buy a tile kit to take home starting from 5 euro 2. The activity is ideal for both beginners and advanced and team-building 3. If you require any postcards, or handmade items, feel free to browse around.

Become A Goldsmith For A Day

This experience was created to awaken your artistic side, as well as, delight your senses. Offered here is exclusive access to two very unique worlds of art and flavour. You and a group of friends will learn about the ancient technique of jewellery making through sand casting while enjoying the tastes of an award-winning Cretan boutique winery. Found nowhere else in Greece, this workshop is a hands-on experience for up to a maximum of 10 attendees including yourself. You will be taught the ancient art of sand casting and with your choice of silver (.925) or gold (10k, 14k, 18k) you will cast and polish a beautiful piece of jewellery to keep. This workshop will take place at the picturesque Manousakis winery, located just outside of Chania city. Here you will be surrounded by Cretan nature and indulge in the fine crafted wines and winery grown foods. The entire experience will take.place outside in a well ventilated area. All Covid-19 safety precautions will be in place to make sure all guests are comfortable and safe. Included in the booking fee is your 4-5 hours of instructed workshop time. All of the tools needed for casting and polishing. Finally, you will be given organic wine produced on site and fresh locally grown snacks on our break. Other things to note The fee includes the instructor and all tools needed. Also the snack and wine provided by Manousakis winery. Additional fees will apply for final silver or gold used. Descubrir La Graciosa

Buenas, soy Laura y vivo en esta preciosa Isla. No soy Guía, pero la conozco y la amo muchísimo, para mi es única en el mondo! Lo qué haremos juntos es una experiencia para descubrir La Graciosa de manera única, visitando sitios escondidos que poca gente sabe.. Rincones, cuevas, playas, montañas.. Iremos caminando a sitios no muy turísticos, dentro de la isla y a cuevas cerca del mar! También veremos piscinas naturales y les explicaré la historia de La Graciosa, su gente, sus costrumbes, su comida, sus curiosidades! No lo ofrezco ni cómo profesional ni como Guía Turística,y -por ello- la única obligación es la disfrutar del día!! Pueden escribirme para aclarar cualquier pregunta qué tengan.
